19th century chinese Sang de Boeuf vase, or ox-blood, refers to a deep red, flambe-glazed Chinese porcelain often seen in 18th to 19th-century bottle and baluster vases, sometimes marked with Qianlong reign marks. These sought-after, vividly colored antique pieces are frequently sold in various forms and sizes at auction.
