circa 1930

David Bond Walker was brought up in Belfast, where his father Thomas Bond Walker (1861-1933) was a portrait painter, and also tutored the well known Paul Henry. David moved to Newcastle around WW2 and had a studio in a cottage on the Head Road between Dinny Water and the Silent Valley.
