Arthur Twells (1921–1996) Northern Ireland Civil Service. Painter and sculptor, born in Nottingham, where he studied under Arthur Spooner at the local College of Art, 1933–6. Showed at RHA, RUA, Magee Gallery in Belfast, Walker Gallery in Coleraine, Omell Gallery and elsewhere.
